In this episode, Joe Scacciaferro talks with son Frank Scacciaferro on his career and success in production at a young age. Beginning when he was 10 to winning his first Emmy at 26, Frank has had a vast set of experiences through which he has dedicated himself to continually mastering his craft. “I got to a point where I felt I had to prove myself even more…I still try to carry myself that way no matter where I go.” Frank shares some of the different tech he has used, some of his memorable experiences and gigs, maintaining focus and handling nerves, in addition to the importance of community: “You can’t be in the band and not play.”

BIO:

Frank is an Emmy award winning network broadcast specialty camera operator who began his professional broadcast career at age 10. Shot his first Super Bowl at age 17. Earned his first Emmy by age 26 and has never looked back. He has worked with or for the biggest names in broadcast, FOX, SHOWTIME, HBO, ABC, MADISON SQUARE GARDEN. He has covered events from Super Bowls to NY Marathon to ESPN’s telecast of Nathan’s Hot Dog eating contest.
